Katie Melua announces Autumn European tour (2010)

KATIE Melua has announced an extensive European tour to follow the release of her fourth studio album, which will be released in May 2010.

The tour, which will start in France on October 16, will include 13 shows in Britain in December, and conclude in Bristol on December 21.

Having spent 2009 writing songs for the album, including teaming up with songwriting partners Guy Chambers and Rick Nowels amongst others, Katie is currently in the studio finishing the as-yet-untitled record with producer William Orbit.

Orbit has been running a commentary of the studio sessions on Twitter and Facebook including “this is shaping up to be one of the finest things I’ve ever been involved with. I am hearing what can only be described as magic”.
