Kylie announces European tour dates for 2008

Kylie Minogue

Story by Jack Foley

FRESH from releasing her tenth album, X, Kylie Minogue has announced details of a huge European tour, culminating with four nights in London.

The pop star will also play UK shows in Manchester, Belfast and Glasgow as part of the jaunt that kick off in Paris on May 6, 2008.

Dubbed KylieX2008, the tour will be a chance to “look to the future but will definitely include favourites alongside the new”. The 39-year-old singer has promised fans a “fresh, exhilarating and innovative” set.

The European leg concludes at London’s O2 Arena in July but a gap in the schedule has fuelled rumours that she will also be playing a slot at Glastonbury – as there are no venues confirmed between June 27 and 29.
