Kylie's Wembley dates sell-out (2007)

Kylie Minogue

Story by Jack Foley

KYLIE Minogue’s Showgirl – Homecoming dates at London’s Wembley Arena in January 2007 all but sold out in less than an hour.

The singer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, announced dates on January 2, 3, 5 and 6 earlier this week – all of which sold out within minutes of going on release.

However, a few tickets for the extra January 8 and 9 shows are still available – so long as you get in fast.

The Showgirl – Homecoming tour will kick off at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on November 11, 2006, before moving around the world and stopping off in the UK.

The artist has also been back in the studio working on new material for a possible new release in 2007, according to her record company, Parlophone.

She is also rumoured to be in line for a headline slot at next year’s Glastonbury festival, having been forced to pull out because of her illness in 2005.
