Lewis Watson

Story by Jack Foley

LEWIS Watson has confirmed his biggest headline show to date at London’s Koko on November 18, 2013.

The show is a huge leap in scale for Lewis as the venue holds more than the twice the capacity of that of King’s College, where he played his most recent date in the capital, and will follow another landmark event in his career when he makes his Glastonbury debut this summer.

Recently seen headlining The Great Escape festival and on tour with Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Watson has already sold over 8,000 tickets for his shows in the UK this year, and his headline dates continue with extensive touring throughout June.

He will also hit further festivals this summer including T In The Park, Bestival, Camp Bestival and Truck.

The announcement of the Koko show follows the recent news that Lewis will release his fourth EP, Four More Songs, on July 1 on Warner Bros. Records.

The EP’s lead track Calling has already been named as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record in the World. To date, Lewis has released three EPs that have all hit the Top 10 at iTunes with 20,000 sales.

Fans who pre-order Four More Songs from iTunes will receive Calling as an instant gratification track. Every pre-order will also unlock a snippet of Made Up Love Song #43, which can be heard at www.fourmoresongs.lewiswatsonmusic.com.
