Story by Jack Foley

SHOCK rocker Marilyn Manson has announced details of a UK arena tour this winter, including a night at London’s Wembley Arena.

The controversial star has so far announced only four dates in support of his latest studio album Eat Me, Drink Me, which was released earlier this year.

Support comes from Turbonegro and the gigs take place during the beginning of December.

The dates are:
5 – London Wembley Arena
6 – Manchester Central
8 – Glasgow Braehead Arena
9 – Birmingham NEC

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, August 10.

In addition to news of the tour, Manson releases his new single Putting Holes In Happiness on September 3 through Interscope Records. The track finds the singer at his darkest and was co-written with long-term guitarist Tim Skold.

It explores many of the themes on his recently released album Eat Me, Drink Me – sex, blood and death.

Later this year Manson will be turning to film making, having just announced that he will be starting work on his long-awaited horror film Phantasmagoria: The Vision of Lewis Carroll.

The film already has an all-star cast with Lily Cole, Tilda Swinton, Evan Rachel Wood set to have roles in the film.
