MASSIVE Attack have announced a 10-date UK tour this autumn starting with two nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

The dates mark Massive Attack’s first full UK tour in three years; their last was for the album Collected released in 2006.

More recently, their live appearances have included Glastonbury, where they were one of the main headliners, and Meltdown at London’s Southbank Centre last summer, which Massive Attack also curated.

Massive Attack will release a new studio album in September.

The tour dates are (all September and October 2009):

17 & 18 – London Brixton 02 Academy
21 – Sheffield 02 Academy
22 – Birmingham 02 Academy
24 – Leeds 02 Academy
26 – Manchester Apollo
28 – Glasgow 02 Academy
30 – Newcastle 02 Academy

2 – Leicester De Montfort
3 – Swindon Oasis

Tickets cost £28.50 (regional) and £30 (for London) and they go on sale on Friday, April 24 at 9am.
