MASSIVE Attack are to headline London’s Hyde Park on July 1, 2016.

The Bristol duo of Robert del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall will appear as part of the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time festival.

They will join other previously announced headliners Florence + the Machine and Kendrick Lamar (July 2), Mumford & Sons (July 8) and Take That (July 9).

Joining Massive Attack on the July 1 bill will be Patti Smith, TV On The Radio, Warpaint and Ghostpoet, with further acts to be announced soon.

Massive Attack intend to bring a new and reportedly ‘provocative’ stage show to the iconic London venue, which has been designed by del Naja and the group’s regular visual collaborators, United Visual Artists.

Tickets for the show go on general sale at 9am on Friday, March 11, with a Barclaycard pre-sale from 9am on March 7 and an AEG pre-sale from 9am on March 10.

Tickets cost from £59.50 for general admission to £149.50 tickets for the Terrace grandstand area.
