McFly announce massive UK Arena tour (2008)

McFLY are to embark on a massive arena tour this November, including a night at London’s Wembley Arena.

The 12-date jaunt commences at Sheffield Arena on Friday, November 7 and ends at Liverpool Arena on Saturday, November 29. It will showcase classics hits as well as songs from the forthcoming new album Radio:ACTIVE.

The tour dates are (all November 2008):

8 – Newcastle Arena
14 – Birmingham NEC
15 – Bournemouth Intl Centre
18 – Brighton Centre
19 – Cardiff Arena
21 – Nottingham Arena
22 – Manchester EN Arena
24 – Aberdeen AECC
25 – Glasgow SECC Hall 4
27 – London Wembley Arena
29 – Liverpool Arena

Tickets are £26 and £16 and go on general sale on Sunday, July 20 at 11am.

McFly released One For The Radio, the debut release on their own label, on Monday, July 14, as an ode to the fans that have made them one of the biggest British bands of the decade.

Last year, McFly opted to leave the major label that launched them in 2004 and helped them achieve multi-platinum sales success. Funded by the band themselves, Super Records is a wholly independent operation.
