Michael Jackson announces more O2 dates into 2010

MICHAEL Jackson has announced a stack of further dates to his residency at London’s O2 Arena, which will take the singer into 2010.

Pre-sale tickets for the initial 10 nights sold out on Tuesday (March 10, 2009), but new dates have now been added in an attempt to cope with the unprecedented levels of demand.

The new dates, which have been announced on Jackson’s website, are as follows…

According to the event organisers, registration was being dealt with on a first come, first served basis. The pre-ticket sale will close on Thursday (March 12), or when they have all been sold, with the remainder of tickets going on general sale from 7am (GMT) on Friday (March 13, 2009).

According to the BBC, tickets for the shows are already being sold on online auction site eBay, with prices reportedly ranging from £170 to £10,000. Tickets bought directly from the singer’s website or Ticketmaster cost up to £75.
