MICHAEL Kiwanuka has announced details of his first live dates for 2017.

The British artist will take his critically acclaimed, number one selling, Mercury Prize nominated second album Love & Hate out on the road in April and May for six new shows.

The tour includes his biggest headline show to date at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 5, 2017.

Tickets go on general sale from 9am on Friday, September 30. In an effort to ensure tickets are made available to fans at the correct price, measures have been put in place to stop the resale of tickets at inflated prices for this tour. Tickets will be non-transferable, and limited to four per person/billing address.

The tour dates are (all April and May 2017)

April 2017
29 – The Albert Hall, Manchester
30 – The Sage, Gateshead

May 2017

3 – Colston Hall, Bristol
4 – Corn Exchange, Cambridge

Following his nomination and spellbinding performance at the Mercury Prize earlier this month, Michael has been nominated for his first MOBO Awards this year, for Best R&B/Soul Act and Best Album.
