Story by Jack Foley

T-MOBILE Street Gigs return with a bang in 2007 and the first gig of the series will be a very special one off gig with Mika – one of the year’s most hotly tipped new artists.

Mika is no ordinary performer and this will be no ordinary circus! As master of the ring, Mika promises a fabulously flamboyant performance together with a whole host of circus themed surprises!

For one night only, this specially erected circus will play the backdrop for Beirut born singer/songwriter to launch his hotly-tipped debut album‚ Life in Cartoon Motion, exclusively to T-Mobile customers.

Having already captured critics‚ hearts and headlines, not to mention a No.1 hit with his debut single Grace Kelly, 23-year-old Mika is guaranteed to wow the crowds with his unmissable performance at this exclusive and extravagant circus themed T-Mobile Street Gig at Berkeley Square on February 5.

The only givens at a T-Mobile Street Gig are superb live music, original ideas, incredible venues and a phenomenal experience that you just won’t get anywhere else!

Mika says of the playing the gig: “Wow, a big top on Berkeley Square to launch my album with T-Mobile Street gigs, it’s going to be quite a night. Our whole world will come to life for one very special night of circus fun and frolics, it’s going to be quite a spectacle!”

As with every T-Mobile Street Gig, there will be surprises aplenty all night long!

The 15 unique T-Mobile Street Gigs last year included The Strokes performing amongst dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum, The Rakes in a Kebab Shop and a superb three-day, underground carnival with a host of brilliant bands including Basement Jaxx to top it off!
