Morrissey reschedules Albert Hall gig and adds new dates

MORRISSEY’S shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall, which were cancelled last week due to illness, have now been rescheduled for October, with four new dates added.

Returns for Birmingham and London with be re-sold, so please check with box offices to see availability.

Morrissey’s current sold out UK tour includes two shows at Manchester Apollo this weekend, and ends on May 30 at the O2 Academy Brixton. Original tickets for the rescheduled dates remain valid.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale on Friday, May 22 at 9am.

The new and re-scheduled dates are (all October 2009):

23 – Birmingham Symphony Hall (rescheduled)
24 – Swindon Oasis
26 – Bournemouth Opera House
27 – London RAH (rescheduled)
29 – O2 Academy Leeds
30 – Sheffield City Hall

Tickets for new dates are £32.50.
