New Outdoor Cafe

At the Birthday Party, Proud Camden will also be revealing its newly revamped, outdoor terraced café.

Visitors will be able to escape gig and club night madness with Proud’s very own little Miami escape, set up to be the coolest smoking area in London.

With inside and outside wood decking, a grand pergola, black bamboo fringes and mirror tiled mosaic bar, the glass-walled space gives you a sense of being in a remote, tranquil retreat.

Friday night Tales of the Unexpected

Proud Camden has now launched its new Friday night Tales of the Unexpected: The Forbidden Forest, which sees the venue completely transformed into a cursed forest with revellers treated and taunted by the likes of voodoo magicians, amorous nymphs, fortune tellers and woodland creatures.

In addition, Proud has also announced that William Orbit will be coming out of retirement for the launch of new residents Ban*Jam on Thursday, July 8.

These exciting new promoters are pulling out all the stops for their first Proud date, also confirming The Kooks’ Luke Pritchard to DJ at the launch.

And on Wednesday, July 28 Proud will host Jack Comes Alive, which sees Who’s Jack become the first monthly magazine to create a live embodiment of itself at the venue.

Each night will mirror the issue it represents, with the launch date including all brands, subjects, writers, interviewees, illustrators, photographers who have taken part in the June and July publications.

Highlights from this month’s line-up include live performances from Will and the People, Thomas Tantrum and Electric Memory Box , freebies from pick of the month pages, interactive stables with Who’s Jack columnists, artist installations, film screenings and even a chance to splash about with June’s swimwear models in a paddling pool.
