Muse and Magic Numbers back Eden Project's Edge campaign

MUSE, The Magic Numbers, Goldfrapp and Pulp are among the top artists who are throwing their weight behind the Eden Project’s Edge campaign.

Exclusive tracks filmed at the Eden Sessions by these top names and a string of others who have played the acclaimed Eden Sessions gigs are available to people who sign up to support the Edge by Monday at noon.

Eden plans to build a visionary new centre meeting the challenges of climate change and the project is one of four competing for the Big Lottery Fund’s: the People’s £50 Million campaign.

Peter Hampel, Eden’s creative director, said: “This is really exciting news for all of us who love the Sessions. Everybody knows Eden brings out the best in bands – the best place to play in the opinion of many of the acts who have performed here.

“These are tracks filmed and recorded to the highest quality from some of the world’s top acts exclusively available on the Edge web site. The combination of brilliant performances and the unique Eden setting means fans are in for a real treat.

Eden’s bid for the Edge – a visionary new building meeting the challenges of climate change – is up against three other UK projects in the Big Lottery Fund’s: the People’s £50 Million Contest.
