Muse and The Strokes for Reading Festival (2011)

MUSE (pictured), My Chemical Romance and The Strokes have been confirmed as the headline acts for this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals (2011).

They will be joined by reformed Brit-pop group Pulp, who have also been named as a co-headliner for the event – playing before The Strokes in Reading and closing the evening in Leeds once the artists switch.

The event takes place, as ever, at Reading’s Little John’s farm and Leeds’ Bramham Park between August 26 and 28 and tickets – costing £192.50 for a weekend pass – are now on sale.

Joining the headliners on the main stage across the weekend are the likes of Elbow, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, The National, Jimmy Eat World and Interpol.

While bands scheduled to play the NME/Radio 1 stage include Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye, Jane’s Addiction, Crystal Castles, 2ManyDJs, White Lies and The Streets.
