Muse announce Supermassive UK tour

Muse

Story by Jack Foley

FRESH from the success of their excellent new album Black Holes and Revelations Muse have announced a supermassive arena tour of the UK.

The band will play eight dates throughout November culminating in two nights at London’s Wembley Arena on November 21 and 22.

Tickets for the gigs go on sale at 9am on Friday, July 14.

Prior to that, Muse will headline the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals this summer, playing Reading on August 26 and Leeds on August 27.

Their album is already being hailed as one of the best LP releases of the year. IndieLondon wrote: “Throughout, you can’t fail to be struck with Muse’s ingenuity – they have crafted a sound that draws on the greats (Queen, Radiohead, Beck) while retaining an identity that could only be their own. The guitars are crisp, expansive and exciting, while the vocals as memorable as ever.

“With Black Holes & Revelations, Muse only seem to be getting better and better. It’s a staggering achievement and easily one of the best releases of the year.”
