Story by Jack Foley
MUSE have been confirmed as the headline act for this year’s War Child Brit Awards concert.
The band will play the 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on February 18 – two days before this year’s Brit Awards show.
Special guests for the intimate one-off show are still to be announced.
Confirming the news, Matt Bellamy said in a statement: “We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years. It’s great to see their efforts being recognised at this year’s Brits and we are really looking forward to playing this special show for them.”
Tickets cost £50 and go on general sale at 9am on Friday, February 1.
Muse are currently midway through a North American arena tour before returning to the UK in May for a run of four stadium dates.
The War Child concert marks the 20th anniversary of the War Child charity, which is receiving a special recognition award at this year’s Brits ceremony.
