Muse to live stream London War Child gig
Story by Jack Foley
MUSE will live stream their forthcoming War Child gig at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
Fans who were unable to get tickets will be able to see the band perform live when the concert is streamed for free at youtube.com/warchildmuse on February 18 from 9.30pm GMT.
The band will perform the gig two days before this year’s Brit Awards bash takes place.
Special guests for the one-off show are still yet to be announced.
But Muse’s Matt Bellamy said in a statement: “We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years. It’s great to see their efforts being recognised at this year’s Brits and we are really looking forward to playing this special show for them.”
The band follow in the footsteps of Coldplay, The Killers, Blur and Kasabian, who have all performed at War Child’s Brit Awards concert in previous years.
Their performance marks the 20th anniversary of the War Child charity, which is receiving a special recognition award at this year’s Brit awards.
