Nathaniel Rateliff announces 2014 UK tour
Story by Jack Foley
HAVING sold out his two December 2013 London shows in a matter of days, folk balladeer Nathaniel Rateliff is coming back in early 2014 to treat fans to his most extensive tour of the UK yet.
The tour will take in 11 cities and includes a stop off at London’s Dingwalls – Nathaniel’s biggest headline show in the capital to date.
The first show, in Belfast, coincides with the release of his second album, Falling Faster Than You Can Run, which is out on January 20, 2014. Produced by Nathaniel and Jamie Mefford, the album is a collection of 11 frank, heartfelt and astonishingly self-reflective tales of love, life and all the possible pitfalls in between.
Nathaniel Rateliff plays (all January and February 2014):
20 – Belfast, McHughs Basement
21 – Dublin, Academy 2
23 – Leeds, Belgrave
24 – Liverpool, Leaf
25 – Glasgow, Broadcast
26 – Manchester, Soup Kitchen
28 – London, Dingwalls
29 – Brighton, Green Door Store
30 – Cambridge, Portland Arms
