NEIL Young & Crazy Horse and McBusted are the first two acts to be announced for next summer’s Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde (2014).

The 10-day event returns to central London from July 4-13, with Neil Young and his band headlining on Saturday, July 12. The date marks the singer’s first since he was forced to pull out of a series of gigs this summer after guitarist Frank ‘Poncho’ Sampedro broke his hand.

Newly formed pop super-group McBusted – an amalgamation of Busted and McFly – will headline on Sunday, July 6 with special guests The Backstreet Boys.

More support acts are expected to be announced in the new year.

The support line-up for Neil Young includes Tom Odell, The National, Caitlin Rose, Phosphorescent and Flyte. They are set to play across four stages.

Tickets for both Neil Young and McBusted go on general sale from 9am on Friday, December 13.

Pre-sale tickets for Barclaycard customers go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, December 11, with a further BST/AEG presale at 9am on Thursday, December 12.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse tickets will be priced from £66.60 to £220.89, while those for McBusted are priced from £54.95 to £220.89.
