Nine Black Alps announce UK tour (2009)

NINE Black Alps have just confirmed a tour for May – their first outing of 2009, and their first tour for over a year.

Since their inception in 2003 Nine Black Alps have developed a reputation for their loud and aggressive yet melodic music that echoes the sounds of American alternative rock bands such as Nirvana, Pixies and Dinosaur Jr.

They are renowned for their energetic and anarchic live shows which have taken them across Northern Europe, North America and Japan playing with bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Weezer and Biffy Clyro.

Since December, the band have been recording their new album with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers), which is due for release later in 2009.
