Noah & The Whale to play Astoria's final New Year's Eve party

Noah & The Whale

Story by Jack Foley

NOAH & The Whale are to headline the last ever New Year’s Eve party at the Astoria 2 in London (on December 31, 2008).

The venue is being knocked down to make way for a new rail station at Tottenham Court Road, bringing an end to an era of gigs and club nights at the prestigious London venue.

Noah & The Whale are a popular folk four-piece who have taken the UK by storm this year, following the release of their debut album Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down, and its hit singles 5 Years Time and Shape Of My Heart.

They will headline club night PUSH’s farewell bash on what promises to be an emotional – if tipsy, or downright drunken – occasion!
