Oasis announce film and premiere competition

Story by Jack Foley

THE release of Oasis’ retrospective album Stop The Clocks is to be accompanied by the band’s first ever on-the-road film, Lord Don’t Slow Me Down which will be screened in selected cities across the world in November.

What’s more, you and a friend could be among the first to see it and, even better, you can choose where in the world you go and get there for free!

If that’s not enough, you also get five days accommodation thrown in for good measure. Premiere locations range from Tokyo to New York and from Sydney to London.

Once the venues are confirmed one lucky winner will be able to choose their dream destination.

Lord Don’t Slow Me Down is being directed by renowned promo director Baillie Walsh and is compiled from a year’s filming with the band on their mammoth Don’t Believe The Truth world tour in 2005/6.

It follows the Gallagher brothers behind-the-scenes and in front of the fans across the globe and benefits from unique access to the band throughout the tour.

To win this superb opportunity, entrants must prove themselves to be genuine Oasis fans.

So, while we all know that Stop The Clocks will be in record stores from November, the tracklisting is, at the moment, a closely guarded secret, having been chosen by the band from their incredible collection of songs.

What Oasis want you to do is tell them what you think the 18 tracks are and the running order in which they appear on the album.

It has already been revealed that Acquiesce, Half The World Away, Supersonic, Wonderwall and The Importance of Being Idle are included, which leaves 13 tracks to add and the running order to decipher.
