One Direction announce new European and UK shows (2014)

HAVING already announced the UK, Irish and Latin American legs of their world-wide stadium tour for 2014, One Direction have also announced a string of European dates throughout June and July.

They have also announced two brand new UK shows and one new Irish show. The boys will now play an incredible THIRD show at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, London’s Wembley Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

The European dates are as follows…

June 2014:

13 – Friends Arena, Stockholm, Sweden
16 – National Stadium Parken, Copenhagen, Denmark
20 – Stade de France, Paris, France
24 – Amsterdam Arena, Netherlands
28 – Stadio San Siro, Milan, Italy

July 2014
2 – Espirit Arena, Dusseldorf, Germany
4 – Stade de Suisse, Berne, Switzerland
8 – Estadi Olimpic, Barcelona, Spain
10 – Vicente Calderon, Madrid, Spain
13 – Dragao Stadium, Porto, Portugal

May 2014
23 – Dublin Croke Park
30 – Manchester Etihad Stadium

6 – London Wembley Stadium

The release of these new tour dates follows on from the announcement of One Direction’s keenly anticipated third studio album Midnight Memories. Set for release on November 25, Midnight Memories will include the recent smash hit single Best Song Ever – awarded Song of the Summer at the MTV VMAs last month.

Last month One Direction made their cinema debut with their massive hit 3D concert movie One Direction: This Is Us.

The film has been a phenomenal success, topping box offices around the world and grossing an incredible $60 million worldwide.
