Patty Griffin confirms Rough Trade in-store gig and Jools Holland

GRAMMY Award winning American singer-songwriter Patty Griffin returns to the UK this month for the launch of her first album of new songs in six years, American Kid.
Patty was a member of Band of Joy, the group in which leader Robert Plant and his cohorts meld British and American folk, rock and spiritual music. Plant co-wrote and performed on three songs on Patty’s new album including the first single, Ohio
In addition to a series of UK dates in July (culminating at London’s Union Chapel), Griffin will appear on Later Live on Tuesday, May 14 and Later With Jools Holland on Friday, May 17 with Robert Plant.
She will also be doing an in-store performance at Rough Trade East (Old Truman Brewery, Dray Walk, 91 Brick Lane, London) on Thursday, May 16, from 7pm. She will be accompanied by Robert Plant on harmony vocals.
