Pendulum announce UK tour (2008)

FOLLOWING the news that their new album In Silico debuted at No.2 in the UK album charts, Pendulum have confirmed details of their largest UK tour to date, including two nights at Brixton Academy.

The London dates take place in December and come in the middle of 14 gigs that will take the act from Newport and Portsmouth to Leeds, Glasgow and Sheffield.

Admittance to all shows will be 14+, except the Brixton date on December 5, which is set at 18+ and which takes place from 9pm to 3am.

The dates are (all November and December 2008):

29 – Swindon, Oasis
30 – Plymouth, Pavilions

2 – Leeds, Carling Academy
3 – Birmingham, Carling Academy
4 – London, Brixton Academy
5 – London, Brixton Academy (9PM-3AM)
7 – Manchester, Apollo
8 – Liverpool, University
9 – Glasgow, Carling Academy
10 – Sheffield, Carling Academy
12 – Bournemouth, BIC
13 – Llandudno, Venue Cymru

Tickets, priced at £17.50 for all regional dates and £18.50/£22.50 for the Brixton shows, go on sale from 9am, on Friday, May 24.

Pendulum’s live festival dates also reflects their eclecticism with performances this summer including Jay-Z / Linkin Park’s Projekt Revolution, Creamfields, Download, Reading / Leeds and T in the Park.
