Story by Jack Foley

FOLLOWING their critically acclaimed guest show with The Prodigy in front of 70,000 people at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes this weekend, Pendulum have confirmed details of their Immersion arena tour, scheduled for December.

Named after their recently released chart-topping album, the Immersion tour is Pendulum’s second major live experience in the UK this year and follows their sold-out tour in May that included a landmark show at London’s Wembley Arena.

The eight dates all take place in December and include a return gig at Wembley Arena, with special guests Hadouken! in support.

The dates are (all December 2010):

1 – Glasgow, Braehead Arena
2 – Birmingham, NIA
3 – London, Wembley Arena
4 – Nottingham, Trent FM Arena
7 – Bournemouth, BIC
8 – Manchester, Central
9 – Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena
10 – Aberdeen, AECC

Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday, July 30 at a price of £25 for London and £22.50 for all other dates.

In addition to the Immersion tour, Pendulum are also set to be one of the hottest tips on this summer’s festival circuit with an eclectic range of special outdoor shows including London’s Victoria Park on July 30 as guests to Tiesto and Sonisphere on August 1, where they’re second on the bill to Iron Maiden.

They’ll conclude this year’s festival season by headlining the NME / Radio 1 Stage at the Leeds (August 27) and Reading (August 28) festivals.
