Plan B announces April tour dates (2010)

Plan B

Story by Jack Foley

FOLLOWING the release of his return single Stay Too Long and its subsequent crash landing into the Top 10, Plan B has announced a UK tour in spring 2010.

The dates, which include a final night at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, will also coincide with his sophomore long player, The Defamation of Strickland Banks, which is released on April 5.

After a sold out performance at the West End’s Café De Paris in January, this tour will be the next chance to catch Ben’s astonishing new sound in the flesh.

His second album takes in the sound of Motown, Stax and Northern soul, filtered through the grit of contemporary East London.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale from Friday, January 22, at 9am.

The tour dates are (all April 2010):

8 – Anson Rooms, Bristol
9 – Oxford Academy
10 – Birmingham Academy 2
11 – Brighton Concorde 2
13 – Classic Grand, Glasgow
14 – Cockpit, Leeds
15 – Manchester Academy 2
16- Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London
