Prince & 3RDEYEGIRL return to London with two Roundhouse gigs in one day

PRINCE and 3RDEYEGIRL continue their ‘Hit and Run Tour – Part II’ with the announcement of their return to London and two shows in one night at the historic Roundhouse in Camden on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
Door times for the two shows are 5.30 and 9.45pm. Tickets are on sale from midday on Tuesday, June 3 exclusively from www.ticketmaster.co.uk
These shows comes hot on the heels of two sold out performances in one night at the legendary Zenith in Paris this past Sunday.
The music icon travelled to Paris after a stop in Brussels where he performed three surprise shows in five hours at a special 400-capacity location, Botanique. Following the Roundhouse show the tour continues at Vienna at Stadthalle on Saturday, June 7.
Prince and the band (guitarist Donna Grantis, bassist Ida Nielsen and drummer Hannah Ford-Welton) have blown up arenas in England, Scotland, Holland, Belgium and France in a series of critically-acclaimed shows announced at short notice.
The UK shows in May were Prince’s first regional dates since 1995 as he took over arenas in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds.
Switching the setlist up at each show Prince offers thrilling mix of brand new songs and catalogue favourites including some songs rarely performed in public.
Praise has also been laid upon the band, with The Guardian describing them as ‘supreme’ and the405 saying ‘3RDEYEGIRL are genuinely the heaviest thing I have ever seen’.
On the tour they have been performing select tracks taken from their highly anticipated 3RDEYEGIRL album PLECTRUMELECTRUM which is set for release this year.
There is a maximum of four tickets per person, with photo ID required from the lead booker for entry. No cameras are allowed.
