Psapp announce Jazz Cafe date (2007)

Story by Jack Foley

PSAPP, aka Galia Durant and Carim Clasmann, will be headlining London’s Jazz Cafe on February 12, 2007.

Anyone who hasn’t had the magical experience of seeing Psapp play live are in for a treat.

Fom kitchen appliances to childhood toys, the talented duo use anything they can get their hands on to create beautiful and unexpected instruments over their electro pop tunes.

There’s also always the chance that when you attend one of their shows, you’ll leave with one of the hand-made toy cats that they regularly throw out into the audience.

Not heard of Psapp? Well, think again, especially since the duo’s music has seemed to chime with the TV zeitgeist and has been used in some primetime US dramas (not to mention a very high profile Volkswagen advert), culminating in the track Cosy In The Rocket being chosen as the theme music to hit ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
