Queens of the Stone Age announce intimate Rough Trade gig
Story by Jack Foley
QUEENS of the Stone Age have announced an intimate gig at London’s Rough Trade East store.
The band will perform an in-store show on June 11. Entry is via wristbands, which are available from the shop and Rough Trade’s site.
Teasing the performance on their website, the band recently posted: “Just can’t wait til September? Well… Keep your pretty eyes peeled London, cause you never know where we might turn up.”
The gig announcement comes a day after they were confirmed among the first wave of acts for this year’s iTunes Festival in September along with the likes of Thirty Seconds To Mars, Justin Timberlake and Primal Scream.
Queens of the Stone Age will also appear at the Download festival in June.
The band’s new album, …Like Clockwork, is released on Monday (June 3) and is currently streaming for free on iTunes.
