Razorlight to headline Get Loaded in The Park (2011)

Story by Jack Foley

RAZORLIGHT are to headline Get Loaded in The Park on Clapham Common on Sunday, June 12, 2011.

The date marks the band’s exclusive London festival performance and will also be the first show in England featuring the band’s new line-up.

Joining Johnny Borrell are Gus Robertson (Rotten Hill Gang) on guitar and Freddie Stitz (Smokey Angle Shades) on bass.

Skully, who took over when Andy Burrows left in 2008, continues as Razorlight’s drummer. A fourth album is on the horizon.

Razorlight’s first three LPs have collectively sold four million copies.

Having taken a year’s sabbatical in 2010, Get Loaded returns to Clapham Common on June 12 to showcase the very best in indie and alternative live music.

As sister festival to South West Four, Get Loaded took place on the August Bank Holiday Sunday from 2003 to 2009.

Saver tickets go on general sale on Friday, March 25, at 9am, priced £35 (plus booking fee).
