Reef announce one-off intimate London gig (2017)

Story by Jack Foley

REEF have announced a one-off intimate gig at The Flamingo Room (33-37 Wardour St, London W1) on September 27, 2017.

The show will mark the only headline gig in the capital this year by the revitalized west-country rockers.

Following the gig Reef will head into the studio with long-term producer George Drakoulias (The Black Crowes, Primal Scream, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers) to record their first new studio album since 2000’s Getaway, having recently inked a deal with earMUSIC. The new album will be released in Spring 2018.

In 2016, Reef returned with How I Got Over, their first new single since 2003, which was A-Listed at Radio 2 and saw the band perform live on Chris Evans’ radio show and on The One Show on BBC1.

The band were personally invited by Chris Martin to support Coldplay at Wembley in June last year, and also released their live album Reef: Live At St Ives’, recorded over two sold-out nights at St Ives Guildhall.
