Story by Jack Foley

PINK Floyd veteran Roger Waters is to perform the band’s 1973 classic Dark Side Of The Moon in its entirety at two UK shows in May, including one at London’s O2 Arena.

The guitar legend will first perform the album at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on May 15 before heading to the O2 Arena on May 18.

According to the NME, Waters will open both gigs with a set featuring classic Pink Floyd songs, including some from the band’s 1979 classic The Wall. He will then play the whole of Dark Side Of The Moon for the second half of the shows.

A statement issued by Waters further promises “state of the art” staging, lighting and sound for both gigs, which are certain to sell out fast!
