Roundhouse Summer Sessions: Imogen Heap and Sinead O'Connor on bill
Story by Jack Foley
IMOGEN Heap and Sinead O’Connor are among the headline acts for the first Roundhouse Summer Sessions festival.
The iconic London venue has announced that it will play host to the new music and arts festival event in July and August 2014, with live music, dance, comedy, cabaret, spoken word and more in a table-seated setting.
Imogen Heap will stage Reverb, a new project curated by the singer, which will include the first ever performance of her long-awaited album Sparks, while O’Connor will make a headline appearance that showcases her own material.
Also included in the line-up, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood will team up with the London Contemporary Orchestra for the world premiere of a live-scoring of his soundtrack for There Will Be Blood.
Chilly Gonzales will also headline, while there will be a new piece from BalletBoyz as well as performances from Broadchurch composer Ólafur Arnalds, Andreya Triana, Penguin Café, Kid Koala, Funk Da Cirque and Boom + Bang Cabaret.
