Roxy Music announce For Your Pleasure UK tour (2011)

ROXY Music have announced their first UK tour in over a decade, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of this hugely influential band.

The seven date For Your Pleasure UK tour commences on January 25, 2011, in Newcastle and concludes at London’s 02 Arena on February 7, 2011.

The band features the original line-up of Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera and Paul Thompson.

Roxy Music landed in 1971 and have inspired countless imitators and admirers, none of whom has ever successfully cloned the unique and indefinable combination of elements that make Roxy Music one of the most influential bands in rock music history.

Roxy Music, who were chosen by long-time fan Jonathan Ross, to be his final music guest on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross on July 16, are playing a series of European Festivals this Summer, including the UK’s Lovebox and Bestival.

7 – London O2 Arena

Regional dates are on sale now, from Friday, July 16, at 9am. London dates go on sale from Saturday, July 17, at 9am.
