Scissor Sisters announce intimate Mencap London concert

SCISSOR Sisters have announced an intimate winter themed show at London’s Bush Hall on December 4, 2010, in aid of Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions.

The gig will offer fans the rare chance to see the band play a stripped back acoustic gig, with all proceeds going to learning disability charity, Mencap.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 26, with a limited pre-sale from Wednesday, November 24.

From today, subscribe at www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk to be in with a chance to get tickets ahead of general release.

With only 350 tickets to the gig up for grabs, this is set to be one of the hottest winter tickets around!!

Following this week’s spectacular series of gigs at the atmospheric Union Chapel in Islington, Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions sign off for the year by announcing the Scissor Sisters event.

Commenting on the upcoming show, Ana Matronic said: “Scissor Sisters are ecstatic to join forces with our sister Jo Whiley for the Mencap Little Noise Session on December 4. To stand behind Mencap’s mission in supporting those with learning disabilities is a great honour.”

Jo Whiley, Mencap ambassador Jo Whiley, continued: “What better way to bring the annual Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions to a close with another very special announcement.

“Join us on December 4, as Scissor Sisters will play a surprise winter themed gig, giving fans a chance to see this world-class band play in front of a tiny audience of 350.”

Tickets are priced at £35 and are subject to an additional booking fee.
