Scouting For Girls announce intimate dates (2009)

Scouting For Girls

Story by Jack Foley

SCOUTING For Girls have announced details of three intimate and exclusive UK parties for their fans at the end of the year, to reveal new material from their upcoming second album.

The multiple Brit Award nominated pop band will head out for their first headline dates since an extensive sell-out British tour in late 2008, which saw them enrapturing over 100,000 fans across the country including two nights at Hammersmith Apollo, and one night at Brixton Academy.

Their as yet untitled album is set for release in Spring 2010 and follows the success of their No. 1 eponymous debut in Autumn 2007 (spawning the hits She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead, Heartbeat and It’s Not About You), which sold in excess of 900,000 copies.

Scouting For Girls have also confirmed that they will be appearing at this year’s Little Noise Sessions for an exclusive acoustic set at London’s Union Chapel on November 24.

The Scouting For Girls dates are (all November and December 2009):

November
24 – The Union Chapel, London Little Noise Sessions
30 – The Tabernacle, London

December
2 – Night & Day, Manchester
3 – King Tuts, Glasgow

For Little Noise Sessions tickets, please see www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk for more details.

Tickets for the other dates are on sale now, exclusively from scoutingforgirls.co.uk for £15.
