ICELANDIC group Sigur Ros are to stream the final gig of their world tour in Reykjavik for a special screening at London’s National Film Theatre.

Over 200 tickets have already been sold for the event on July 30, which will also feature a streamed performance by Amiina, Sigur Ros’ support act.

There will also be a selection of videos by the Icelandic group, whose latest album, Takk gave rise to the majestic single, Hoppipolla that was used by the BBC series Planet Earth.

The special screening forms part of the National Film Theatre’s Access All Areas season of music documentaries and premieres.
