Sir Cliff Richard announces 70th birthday Albert Hall gigs

SIR Cliff Richard has announced a series of six concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall to celebrate his 70th birthday.

Accompanied by a Swing Band, Sir Cliff will sing some of the hits from his 52-year career along with a selection of songs from his yet-to-be-released album Bold As Brass.

The dates follow the legendary performer’s solo 50th Anniversary concerts in 2008, and his reunion tour with The Shadows in 2009/10.

There is a maximum of four tickets per household permitted across the run of shows, which take place on the following dates (all 2010):

Tuesday, October 12
Wednesday, October 13
Friday, October 15
Saturday, October 16
Sunday, October 17

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Sunday, March 7 and are only available from the Royal Albert Hall (via phone, web or in person) or as part of a travel-inclusive package from Newmarket Travel.
