Sir Paul McCartney announces December tour

SIR Paul McCartney has announced his first European tour for five years, including a night at London’s 02 Arena in December.

The former Beatle will play seven dates across Europe before concluding with his only live show in the UK at the 02 on December 22.

The dates, entitled the Good Evening Europe tour, will kick off in Hamburg before visiting Berlin, Arnhem, Paris, Cologne and Dublin. Tickets go on sale on Monday, October 26 at 9am.

Commenting on the forthcoming tour, Sir Paul said: “This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began. Starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between. I’m very much looking forward to ending the year on a high.”

The tour follows the 67-year-old’s summer stadium tour of America, which saw him headline the Coachella festival.
