Somerset House responds to fake adverts

Radiohead

Story by Jack Foley

SOMERSET House has warned concert fans not to respond to online advertisements for fake shows at London’s Somerset House.

On-line adverts for shows by Radiohead, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and KT Tunstall at Somerset House in July 2006 have been categorically dismissed as a hoax.

All of these artists will not be performing at Somerset House this summer.

Somerset House comments: “The official announcement of the live programme at Somerset House this summer will be made in early May 2006. We have contacted Westminster Trading Standards to investigate this hoax.”

A spokesperson for Radiohead added: “Fans should not respond to online advertisements for this concert. Radiohead’s performance schedule for 2006 can be found at www.radiohead.com.”
