South West Four 2010: Oakenfold, Judge Jules and Carl Cox added

PAUL Oakenfold (pictured), Ms Dynamite, Carl Cox and Judge Jules have all been added to the line-up for this year’s South West Four music festival on Clapham Common.

Taking place on Bank Holiday Saturday and Sunday, August 28 and 29, the event has already previously announced Armin van Buuren and Fatboy Slim as the co-headline acts across the two days.

Now, both the Saturday and Sunday line-ups have got a lot busier…

Saturday additions

John Digweed returns by popular demand to deliver another epic set in his very own Bedrock Arena. This will mark John’s sixth consecutive year at SW4.

Joining John this time will be be acid house supremo Josh Wink, techno stalwart Christian Smith and progressive house hero Guy J.

Bedrock also welcomes one of the fastest rising stars of the past year, Joris Voorn to perform live! The Dutch tech-house master will be joined by fellow SW4 debutants Mutant Clan (featuring Timo Maas & Santos).

Heavyweights Paul Oakenfold and Judge Jules return to play The Gallery Arena, with Oakie performing at SW4 for the first time in three years.

Debutant Gareth Emery also stars, along with an exclusive UK festival appearance from Giuseppe Ottaviani who comes to SW4 off the back of Vandit’s 10th Anniversary World Tour.

Completing The Gallery’s line-up is Jerome Isma-Ae, while Mark Knight brings his ‘Toolroom Knights’ to the Common alongside counterparts Funkagenda, Dave Spoon, Dirty South and Joachim Garraud.

Sunday additions

Having rocked the SW4 main stage on numerous occasions, Carl Cox returns to Clapham Common to host his Carl Cox & Friends arena.

Techno lord Dubfire also makes a welcome return after his appearance last year, with another SW4 debut handed to Vitalic, who presents his V Mirror show live.

Day two will also feature an appearance from the first lady of UK hip hop Ms Dynamite, dub-step pioneers Skream, Benga and Caspa and drum & bass DJ Andy C.

Boys Noize, Housemeister, Djedjotronic and Shadow Dancer [Live] join Sunday’s line-up as a part of an exclusive Boys Noize Records showcase that hits the UK for the first time this summer.

Fellow electro performers Erol Alkan, Switch and A-Trak have also been added to the bill, alongside debutants Jack Beats, Sbtrkt, Mixhell and queen of the airwaves, Mary Anne Hobbs.

Having sold out weeks prior to last year’s event, the demand for tickets is even greater this year with the festival stretching across two days.

The entire Early Bird day ticket allocation have already sold out with the weekend tickets soon to follow!

Standard Day Tickets are now on sale priced £40 + booking fee with weekend tickets currently priced £75+BF!
