Stereophonics announce intimate London date (2013)
Story by Jack Foley
TO celebrate the release of their eighth studio album Graffiti On The Train – out March 4, 2013 – Stereophonics are previewing the LP with an intimate performance at London’s Electric Brixton that evening, before christening it with additional shows in Paris and Berlin.
They then return to the UK on March 15 for an intimate run of dates, which sold out in just minutes.
Electric Brixton began life as Edwardian cinema The Palladium Picture Playhouse and with the interior restored to its original grandeur it will be the perfect environment for the band’s dramatic and cinematic new album.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday, February 15 at 9am (max 4 per person).
New single Indian Summer is out February 25th and perfectly encapsulates the record’s filmic grace. It comes in a limited 10” with lyrics etched on the B-side.
The band will also be playing festivals throughout the summer before returning to UK arenas this autumn.
