Take That to play Hyde Park in summer 2016

Story by Jack Foley

TAKE That will play Hyde Park for the first time next year when they headline the British Summer Time festival.

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will play the Great Oak Stage on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

Commenting on the gig in a statement, the band said: “If someone would have told us in 1991, ‘Hey guys, in 24 years you’re going to be playing at one of the most famous parks in the world’, [we] probably wouldn’t have believed whoever said it.

“We are thrilled to have been invited to headline Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park. The atmosphere will be amazing, I know that between us and the audience, there’s going to be an incredible energy.”

General admission tickets are priced at £72 plus booking fees, with priority entry (£83), premium view (£109), Barclaycard VIP Summer Garden (£193), The Terrace (£329) and Diamond Circle (£275) tickets also available.

Tickets go on general sale this Friday, November 13 at 9am but a Barclaycard presale is open now.
