The Charlatans announce December UK tour (2015)

TO round off a fantastic year The Charlatans have announced a new UK tour in December (2015).

Starting at the legendary Rock City in Nottingham on December 8, the tour takes them around the country and into Scotland before finishing at Brixton Academy on December 19.

The band are also nominated for best album and Tim Burgess for ‘Indie Hero’ at The AIM Awards in October.

The band released their 12th studio album, Modern Nature in January, to stunning reviews, some citing it as their best ever. Their singles, So Oh, Come Home Baby, Let The Good Times were rapturously received at radio and all A listed at 6 Music.

Over the festival season The Charlatans have been working flat out, starting with a triumphant secret opening a slot at Glastonbury where they drew record crowds, to headline slots at Isle Of Wight, Truck, Tramlines. This weekend they play V festival.

This will be The Charlatans’ last UK tour before the band head off to tour Europe, America and Australia.

On their return they will be heading back into the studio to start work on their follow-up to Modern Nature.

Tickets are priced £27.50, except Cardiff which is £25 and London, £32.50. They go on sale on Friday, August 28 at 9am.
