The Duke Spirit announce new LP and UK tour (2011)

Story by Jack Foley

THE Duke Spirit have announced details of their new album and a UK tour.

Bruiser, the band’s third album, will be released on May 18.

Says singer Liela Moss: “We put the songs on a diet to make them sonically more articulate, left the white noise in the changing room and made sure every sound was tough, graceful and deftly placed to let the vocals soar and the guitar solos stand up.”

The band will also follow their recent sold-out UK dates with another headline tour to coincide with the album’s release.

Kicking off on May 16 in Nottingham, the band conclude the tour 14 dates later in Brighton and include at least two stops in London.
