The Feeling announce 2008 tour dates and new single

THE Feeling have announced a new tour of the UK in early 2008 to coincide with the release of their sophomore album.

The band are set to release the first single from their second album on February 11, called I Thought It Was Over. It’s described as “a pulsing slice of dancefloor guitar-pop in which singer Dan Gillespie Sells sets a love story around the fall of the Berlin Wall”.

Explains Dan: “I remember quite clearly the fall of the Berlin Wall and the feeling that the world had turned a corner and that there would be nothing to fear anymore. Of course that feeling didn’t last very long!”

The tour dates will take place in March and include a total of 10 locations, including London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

9 – Bristol Academy
10 – Nottingham Rock City
11 – Newcastle Academy
13 – Manchester Academy
14 – Glasgow Barrowland
15 – Leeds University
17 – Southampton Guildhall
18 – Cambridge Corn Exchange
19 – London Shepherd’s Bush Empire

Tickets cost £15 (except London, £17.50) and they’ll be available from Friday, December 14at 9am.
