DUE to phenomenal public demand, The Gaslight Anthem have upgraded their summer show in London to Brixton Academy.

The rockers had been due to play The Forum on June 26, 2010, but will now play the legendary Brixton venue instead.

And that date comes 24 hours after they appear at Hard Rock Calling in Nyde Park, supporting Pearl Jam.

The Gaslight Anthem are now hard at work recording the follow-up to The ’59 Sound with producer Ted Hutt at The Magic Shop in New York City.

The album will be called American Slang and is set to be released in June 2010 on SideOneDummy Records.

The revised tour dates are (all June/July 2010):
