The Pigeon Detectives announce UK tour

The Pigeon Detectives

Story by Jack Foley

THE Pigeon Detectives have unveiled their biggest tour so far, playing just about every nook and cranny of the UK throughout October and November.

Matt, Oli, Ryan, Dave and Jimmi will be giving everyone the chance to see them as they play both towns off the beaten track and legendary venues such as the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool and The Forum in London.

The tour announcement comes on the back of an incredible month for the band. They’ve had their second hit single with I’m Not Sorry and the release of debut album Wait For Me, which flew into the charts at number 3.

They’ve also played Radio 1’s Big Weekend, sold out the Astoria and played two well received homecoming shows at Leeds Town Hall.

They have also been confirmed as appearing on the John Peel Stage at this year’s Glastonbury (at 6pm) – and they’ll also be appearing at Reading/Leeds, T In The Park, Oxegen and Wireless.
